Female Golfers Welcome!
In this day and age with more women in the workforce, learning to play golf is not only becoming more popular but could be a big part of your business future! I always try to work with each student and help them excel with what strengths they have. Maybe you want to be able to play golf with your husband or boyfriend to be together more or maybe it would help with your job.
One final bit of advice—it is sometimes difficult for a spouse to teach the other without getting into arguments. Sometimes this great game can bring out frustrations in a personal relationship. Group lessons with other women could solve this and may make you feel more comfortable.
Junior Golfers ages 5-17
I really enjoy working with kids. In fact, I probably have introduced the game to over 1,000 + kids over my career. It is a great feeling to have a junior come to me in later years and tell me that I started them to the game.(yes, it does make me feel a lot older, but it is gratifying!).
I make it a point to make the kids have fun! If you as a parent or grandparent try to “force this game” on your child by wanting them to be another Tiger Woods, be aware that this could destroy their desire later on. Everyone, especially the kids should want to go to the range or the course.
Corporation Specials
This is a great way to be outdoors and have fun and since most company/charity events and leagues use “scramble” formats, you do not have to rely on your individual shot as you are on a team and use the “best ball of the team” on each shot. These events also help you improve your own game as you are on the course and are facing all the facets of the game from the tee shot to the putt.
